Ever wondered where the fabled YELLO brick road will take you?

This YELLO road will take you on a unique adventure, celebrating spring and the best that Western Australia has to offer, as you unearth a smorgasbord of tastes and talent that will surprise and tantalise your senses at every turn.

We’re throwing open our doors for YELLO – a festival never seen before in Western Australia.

Soak up the visual feast of Pippa McManus‘ incredible live art installation in the Cider Orchard as you enjoy a delectable tasting of ciders from Funk Cider.

Multi-award winning 7-piece ensemble DSUS Afro-Peruvian Jazz Group will radiate their joy within Postal Hall, the beating heart of the State Buildings. Followed by one of Australia’s most exciting talents, Allira Wilson and Wilson’s Racket, reinterpreting some of the greatest pop, blues and RnB hits. Soukouss Internationale will explode with outrageous rhythms and pumping sounds.

Five piece Bavarian-style horn ensemble, Oompah! will give you that ‘Hofbrauhaus’ feeling with their repertoire of foot-stomping, thigh-slapping tunes. Along with five-piece acapella jazz vocal group, Koko, and the classically beautiful string sounds of Dolce Duo. No matter where the YELLO journey leads you, our towering stilt walkers, led by Perth’s multi-talented jazz singer Libby Hammer, will captivate and delight.

The stunning surrounds of The Treasury Lounge and Bar will be perfectly complemented by the richly elegant jazz sounds of WAAPA songstress, Lucy Iffla, accompanied by Oliver Vonlanthen on guitar.

Your tastebuds will also be dancing thanks to some delicious drops from Western Australia’s wine pioneers including Vasse FelixHoward Park and Leeuwin Estate. Journey into Petition Wine Bar & Merchant and Petition Beer Corner to celebrate the best small-batch wines and boutique craft brews Western Australia has to offer along with hearty snacks. The Long Chimteam led by multi award-winning Bar Chief, Dean Buchanan will be shaking up Western Australian-inspired cocktail creations utilising local produce alongside snacks inspired by the streets of Bangkok. Post will be showcasing premium Western Australian ingredients with a contemporary Italian twist as well as a selection of local Italian varietals from Juniper Estate and Amato Vino.

Join the festivities and take the YELLO road to celebrate our incredible Western Australian arts, culture and cuisine within the State Buildings.

Tickets include 10 complimentary beverage tastings.
