Spring is here and so is our new Spring Mix. This selection of six is well suited for the warmer days and lighter spring menus. From the pristine, juicy and clean to the return of sherry, our hand picked line-up will have you discovering new delights.
September brings a new theme to our Wine Nerds club (it’s not too late to join), suitably titled: Young Bright Whites. If you love the crisp and crunchy, be sure to join the six week journey. For our Producer in Focus we chat to legendary winemaker Virginia Willcock of Vasse Felix. Then discover what’s new from Hippocampus, the Petition stall at BeauVine Food and Wine Festival and crack a tinnie with the Petition Beer Corner team. We’ll be in your inbox again in November to kick off Christmas but in the interim, find us onFacebook and Instagram to get in touch or just drop in and say hi. Em, Laura, Kim and Ludo. |

PRODUCER IN FOCUS: Vasse Felix’s Virginia WillcockWhen did you know you wanted to make wine? When I was 15 years old. My Dad sold the hobby farm we had with a vineyard on it and I didn’t know how to get that vibe back. Growing grapes and turning them into magic juice that made all the adults happy and carefree was something I had to pursue, then I found out you could get a degree in it. Favourite wine region and why? Best wine-food combo? Desert island drink? Interesting fact about Virginia? Favourite music to listen to during vintage? |
